SAMPLES

Do you want to make sure the piece you are ordering is a perfect fit for your home or business? Because colors appear differently in photos, in different lighting, and on different computers, the color of your furniture in person may vary slightly than what appears on the computer. Wood samples are available for $15 including shipping. Upon return of the samples, $10 will be applied to your purchase. Please contact us to order samples here.

We cannot guarantee that every board or every inch of your furniture will precisely match the color of the approved finished sample, although we will do our very best to ensure that this is so. There are many natural variations in wood, therefore we cannot return or refund furniture based on color or stain matching variations.

PAYMENT

We accept PayPal, credit cards, or personal checks. For internet orders, full payment is due at purchase. For custom orders, a 75% deposit is due when the order is placed, and the remaining 25% is due upon completion, before the piece has been shipped or delivered.

ORDER CONFIRMATION

All orders placed on our site will receive a confirmation email listing order details. It is the customer’s responsibility to review all order details and immediately make WoodenMetal aware of any errors or changes that need to made.

If you wish to change or cancel an order placed online, you must notify us within 3 days of order placement. After 3 days, there is no guarantee that an order can be altered or cancelled.  Custom orders cannot be changed or cancelled. Please contact us here for questions.

SHIPPING POLICY

Your satisfaction is our highest priority! Most of our items are ready for shipment in 4-6 weeks, though production can take longer. We will keep you up to date throughout the entire process. 

When you place an order, we will email you with a shipping date estimate. When the piece is near completion, we will contact you again to schedule the exact shipping date. Once your piece has been shipped, tracking numbers will be emailed to you.

We go to great lengths to ensure that you receive your order in perfect condition. Along with product quality, safe shipping and customer satisfaction are our top priorities. We ship all packages insured for your protection. We thoroughly package all shipments above and beyond the shipping company requirements. Due to our diligent packing and crating methods, it is rare to see a piece get damaged.

It is the client’s responsibility to inspect the furniture at delivery or pick-up. It is highly important that we follow the policies of the shipping company to ensure the right to file a damage claim in the rare event that is necessary. Wait to sign for the shipment until you have fully inspected it and you are certain that it has been transported safely, without damage. Signing for shipment in good condition ends the shipping company's insurance liability. Concealed damage is covered by shipping insurance, but only if noted at time of delivery. If damage is not noted at time of delivery, we will have no recourse with the shipping company. If your shipment does arrive damaged, account for it on your delivery ticket. In this case, write “damaged” and refuse the shipment. Take pictures and email us at the time of the incident. At that point, we will follow up with a damage claim on your behalf and concurrently start to re-make your order.

 

We offer the following options for shipping:

UPS:

UPS service offers delivery to your door at any address within the 48 mainland states. There are size and weight limits on this option, so not all orders can be shipped via UPS Ground. If your order is too large for this service, it will not be displayed as an option at checkout. If you’re placing a custom order, we will let you know if your order qualifies for UPS Ground shipping.

 

Freight to Commercial Address:

The address must be zoned commercial for this shipping rate to apply. Commercial address shipments are delivered by the freight company on an ASAP basis without a delivery appointment. We start by building a custom, extra heavy-duty crate for your order. We book the shipment and load the freight truck upon arrival. You’ll receive an email from us with your PRO #, which is the freight tracking number, and the freight company’s contact information so you are able to follow the progress of the shipment. On delivery day, the truck pulls up to the shipping dock or into the parking lot, if no shipping dock is available, and the customer is responsible for inspecting and unloading the shipment.

 

Freight to Residence:

This is for residential addresses. The freight company typically uses smaller trucks to navigate residential areas. The major benefit to the residential delivery option is that the customer is able to schedule a delivery day. This delivery appointment is a full-day window. This is so the customer can be home and have extra hands available to receive the shipment if necessary.

 

International Delivery:

Please contact us here for international delivery options.

 

Pick Up:

If you would prefer to pick up your order at our shop, we would be happy to arrange that with you at no additional cost. Please contact us at here to arrange for pick up. Our store hours are M-F from 9am-5pm. Large, heavy items may need to be picked up by appointment if you will need assistance getting into your vehicle. 


Please be ready to pick up your order within 1 week of completion. WoodenMetal does not have the capacity to store your order for an extended period of time. All orders stored greater than 1 week will be charged a $200 storage fee per week. Please contact us if you cannot arrange for pickup within this time-frame.

RETURN POLICY

Returns on in-stock purchases may receive a full refund within 7 days of purchase. Customer is responsible for any return shipping costs. A full refund will be issued upon receipt and inspection of the ordered product(s).

 

Discounted and “as-is” furniture are FINAL sale. No exceptions.

 

If the product is refused at the time of delivery for any reason (including taste variance) and other than manufacturing defects, the customer is still responsible for 100% of the product cost and all related shipping charges.

 

ALL SALES ON CUSTOM ORDERS ARE FINAL. Refunds are only issued if there is a defect in our product or if we made a mistake in the details of your order. Any damage in transit MUST be noted on the freight bill at the time of delivery. See Shipping and Delivery for more details on reporting damage. If there is a defect, or we made a mistake, we reserve the right to fix the problem rather than issuing a refund. You must contact WoodenMetal immediately if damage is noted.

WARRANTIES

We specialize in design, custom mill-work, and fabrication of high-end furniture tailored to both residential and commercial clients. Our furniture is made from real, solid wood or metal making each piece unique in appearance. Because we use real wood and not engineered products, there are elements of the wood we cannot remove such as knots, knot holes, cracks, and unevenness that occur naturally in wood. These are not defects, but natural qualities of real wood furniture. Also, there will be variations in the stain colors due to the grain of the wood. Again, this is a characteristic of real wood and is one of the main reasons why real wood furniture is so beautiful. If you choose a light paint color, knots will sometimes slightly show through the paint color over time. Real wood will sometimes warp slightly and there is nothing that can be done to prevent this. It’s just the nature of real wood. Real wood is perfectly imperfect and this is why we LOVE it. Real wood reacts to its environment, such as humidity, changes in temperature, and lighting (natural or artificial). You can reduce the likelihood of these environmental reactions by properly sealing and protecting your wood furniture, as well as maintaining ideal humidity levels.

Should a piece of furniture become structurally unstable, or if excessive warping occurs due to no fault of your own, we will be glad to repair or provide a replacement. Any warranty issues require notification within 6 months of purchase.
